COSTA MESA, Calif. - December 21, 2004 - Huntsworth PLC (LSE: HNT), headquartered in London, has acquired privately-held Rose & Kindel of Los Angeles, through The Global Consulting Group, a New York-based subsidiary of Huntsworth, for a maximum consideration of $9.2m.
RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC, the broker-dealer subsidiary of RSM EquiCo, initiated the transaction, led the negotiations and acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Rose & Kindel.
"Roger Selman, Huntsworth's chief financial officer, attended our first International Buyers Symposium, which was held in London in November of 2001," said Paul Teuten, international managing director for RSM EquiCo. "The resulting transaction further demonstrates our international capabilities."
"This is the second U.K.-U.S. deal that RSM EquiCo has completed this month," he continued. "Cross-border transactions now represent over 20 percent of our deals."
